Ulreahk
Pronounced: "OO-lu-raeayah-ha-kuk"
This desert planet was used 200 years ago to leave criminals that the Federation didn't want to deal with. The small city, The Rokk, was the only civilized place in that time. The Rokk housed the wardens and the space crafts that brought the criminals to Ulreahk. If the 2 suns of the planet didn't kill the convicts, Dark after would.

Some how though some of these convicts lived and breed. Today in the year 2534 Ulreahk is a planet that few know. There now is a growing government that runs many cities. Many off worlders who come to stay or just to visit say its like earth before it was destroyed. Many of them bring tales from old earth passed down my generation. The ones that still stand out in everyones minds are the stories of Dragons.
Ulreahk has dragons, many breeds of them too. They are the main source of just about everything in this world. Pits being the main thing everyone thinks of when they think dragons. But the dragons of Ulreahk are not like the myths from earth. These dragons are real and if it wasn't for those criminals the Federation put on the planet, The dragons would probably be extinct.


There is another race that lives here, among the dragons, they are the natives of the planet. They were here before man stepped into the hot sand.
Their name Hydeja's.
Many say there are stories of their beings from earth too. Many call them elves for their ears are pointed like a dragons. Their skin is dark and shines liek gold in the sun. Hydeja men are hansom and their women beautiful. They live in the mountains and foot hills around them. Stories say they are who saved and sheltered man when they arrived. Showed them how to live threw after dark. But men betrayed them.
You see Hydejas are the keeps of Ulreahk's dragons. Dragons are brothers to them. When man started to train the tamed dragon's to fight for their own bloody sport, Hydejas wanted nothing to do with them.
Hydejas drove man into the sands. Man survived they learn to build with what the planet gave them.

The federation Left the Rokk in ruins, naturally man took it over and it is now what we know it today.
A great city the only major dragon pit in all Ulreahk.

Vekrdan Dragons
The Pit Fighters

Pit Dragons are the strongest of all tame dragons. These dragons can grown to be and average of 9 feet with tails as long as they are high. There scales are naturally harder on their neck and belly, with some other "armor" on the front or their legs and forehead. Only another dragons claw or the diamond tipped knife of stew workers can slice threw dragons scales, excluding the harder armor scales. Vulnerable spots on on the dragon are the under jaw and neck right under the head, underbelly and nose. A pit dragon must never raise its head in a fight. The wings are made of a very tough leather that even a strong man with a shape knife must work at if they want to cut it.
Colors on a Vekrdan are ranges of Red, Yellow, Orange, Brown and Black. Red being very rare and Black is believed to be a myth. Many nursery owners have tired unsuccessfully to breed a black dragon. If a pit dragon is both with light color or almost any markings, they are sent right to the stews or spayed/neutered and turned into a beauty dragon. The most red they are, the better fighter they are and the hotter their fire.


Vaydran Dragons

Vaydran Dragons are rarely bred and are only owned by wealthy families. These dragons have been nicked named the "Royalty Dragons". Vaydran Dragons are one of only two dragons that can be rode on. Other dragons scales are to sharp and will slice you to deep for you to get any help. Those who have lived after trying to ride a dragon were permanently crippled. Vaydran dragons have beautiful show horns that are their only defense next to their claws. These dragons have smooth rounded scales unlike the scales of other breeds and their wings are feathered.
Vaydran colors are typically those of rich blues and can sometimes be seen with grays, teals, and purples in their feathers.


Fydan Dragons
The Water Worms

Here is our first wingless dragon type. While they are water dragons, they have fur on their head, back and tip of the tail instead of fins like those the earth stories say. The fur is for mating purposes only. They have short legs which is why they would rather travel in water then land. Their tail is twice as long as their body and it is used for steering and swimming. Fydan are normally see in the mountains since they thrive in water. Some have been bred small for pets in tanks.
Blues and greens are the only colors you will see on these dragons. A rare white one might slit threw. These dragons typically have wavelike pattens for camouflage.
